保存條件 | Store at -20 °C for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20°C. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 °C. |

background: PAX7 is a member of the paired box (PAX) family of transcription factors. Members of this gene family typically contain a paired box domain, an octapeptide, and a paired-type homeodomain. These genes play critical roles during fetal development and cancer growth. The specific function of PAX7 is unknown but it is speculated to be involved in tumor suppression since fusion of this gene with a forkhead domain family member has been associated with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. Alternative splicing in this gene has produced two known products but the biological significance of the variants is unknown. Function: Probable transcription factor. May have a role in myogenesis. Subunit: Can bind to DNA as a heterodimer with PAX3. Interacts with DAXX. Subcellular Location: Nucleus. DISEASE: Defects in PAX7 are a cause of rhabdomyosarcoma type 2 (RMS2) [MIM:268220]. It is a form of rhabdomyosarcoma, a highly malignant tumor of striated muscle derived from primitive mesenchimal cells and exhibiting differentiation along rhabdomyoblastic lines. Rhabdomyosarcoma is one of the most frequently occurring soft tissue sarcomas and the most common in children. It occurs in four forms: alveolar, pleomorphic, embryonal and botryoidal rhabdomyosarcomas. Note=A chromosomal aberration involving PAX7 is found in rhabdomyosarcoma. Translocation t(1;13)(p36;q14) with FOXO1. The resulting protein is a transcriptional activator. Similarity: Belongs to the paired homeobox family. Contains 1 homeobox DNA-binding domain. Contains 1 paired domain.
